(03-08 18:35)

The Director of Beijing's Liaison Office in Hong Kong, Zhang Xiao-ming, says local people should not only focus on their own concerns, but also act in the best interests of the nation. He was speaking during a meeting with Hong Kong deputies to the National People's Congress in Beijing, RTHK reports.
Zhang was quoted as saying that while there might be minor conflicts between Hong Kong and the mainland, such problems could be easily resolved, and should not be aggravated.
