This is a British year. With everyone immersed in the London Olympic Games, MINI is also introducing something new to stun car enthusiasts.

Following the launch of the MINI Coupe last year, the carmaker presents the open-top, two-seater Roadster.

Incorporating a sporty design and a semi-automatic soft-top, the new model is the sixth in the MINI family and is perfect for drivers who pursue not only elegant and top-notch design, but also go-kart driving fun.

Marking the launch of the MINI Roadster - as well as the opening of the new Wan Chai QRE Plaza MINI showroom - an unveiling ceremony has held with the band Sugar Club and actor Kenneth Ma on hand to share their unique views on driving fun.

One of the highlights of the MINI Roadster has to be the semi-automatic soft-top in black, which can be quickly and easily opened, bringing unmatched driving pleasure.

The padded stainless steel rollover bars and the windscreen frame complete the whole stylish design.

The MINI Roadster has an active rear spoiler that pops up automatically at 80km/h to keep you firmly planted on the road.

The signature front-wheel drive, award-winning inline four-cylinder engine and well-tuned suspension system provide the famous MINI go-kart driving experience.

Owners may also dress their cars up, choosing from nine colors for the exterior paint finish - including Reef Blue Metallic from the exclusive MINI Yours range - with three different Sport Stripe variants for the bonnet, and
the light-alloy wheels in different designs.

The MINI Roadster comes in three variations: the MINI Cooper Roadster, MINI Cooper S Roadster and MINI John Cooper Works Roadster.
