Wonder twin power

Anti-aging has always been the magic word in skin care. But long before the term became trendy - 27 years ago to be precise - Clarins was already producing its Double Serum.

It is the first to offer separate hydric and lipic (water and oil) formulas targeted at boosting five vital functions: hydration, nutrition, oxygenation, protection and oxygenation.

The new formula (HK$600) contains 20 plant extracts - including cangzhu, which stimulates a key ingredient in healthy cell membranes called G protein. In a test on 50 Asian women, more than 90 percent saw firmer skin, reduced wrinkles and less visible pores in four weeks.

As with most anti-aging creams, the serum tends to be a bit heavy so remember that a little goes a long way. It will be launched in Hong Kong next Monday.
