Blow for New Zealand as Halai ruled out of HK Sevens

Holders New Zealand suffered a blow ahead of this weekend's Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens when Frank Halai was ruled out of the rugby showpiece with a hamstring injury.

Apart from Halai - the leading try-scorer in the HSBC Sevens World Series - forward Solomon King and playmaker Toby Arnold are also unavailable. Lolagi Visinia, 19, is the only debutant in the squad named by coach Gordon Tietjens, with Joe Webber getting a recall.
