Rugged style
When I first tested the Toyota RAV4, around 1994, the terms "SUV" and "crossover" were pretty much unknown. In fact, some people say the RAV4 was the world's first "crossover."

Look to the future
Infiniti announced its all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 luxury sports sedan at the recent 2013 North American International Auto Show. Infiniti Motor president Johan de Nysschen and senior vice president and chief creative officer Shiro Nakamura presented the dramatically styled Q50, which goes on sale in the summer.

Perennial best-seller
From 1966 up to last year, 39 million Toyota Corollas were sold. More surprising is that most are still on the road. Certainly we can say the Corolla is the world's favorite car.

Green style at a stretch

Old friend
Seeing the latest Nissan Sunny reminds me of one we tested in Singapore, around 1991. It was billed as a small car with big-car features, including thick carpets, substantial armrests, leather seats, plus vanity mirrors on the sun visors and so on.

Gripping performance
Years ago, Premium Motors invited motoring writers to a one-day "Audi Experience" in Zhuhai. We had a great time, doing precision driving in various Audi models, and hitting around 140km/h on the F1-designed circuit.

Lightning Bug
Now available in Hong Kong, the Volkswagen Beetle GT is the sportiest version so far of the famed "Bug." Following the local arrival of the Beetle last year, the debut of the GT will with no doubt open a new page in the Beetle brand story.

Access all Aeras
Crown Motors hosted a launch ceremony for the all-new Toyota Previa Aeras at its Toyota showroom in Wan Chai, attracting scores of media and special guests.

Green to go
Crown Motors has always been a strong advocate of green driving. Following the earlier launch of the LPG taxi, the company proudly unveiled Hong Kong's first Toyota new generation hybrid taxi.

Smart outshines
The latest Smart fortwo special model is the "edition iceshine," which combines a fresh, cheeky look with chic equipment details. The smart fortwo limited-edition model is available as a coupe with a 52kW, inline three-cylinder petrol engine, displacing 999cc.
